Rechargeable Recharge

can you recharge batteries that are rechargeable?
You know, regular batteries, can you put a new Battery Charger and will they be charging or will it ruin the charger? Will they corrode?
i dont know about "extremely dangerous" lol but yeah, it Not good. ive tried b4: p
