Panasonic Battery

Is it normal that the Rechargeable Battery in a Cordless Phone Panasonic to get weak and then died after 3 years?
3 years is a good life for a Phone Battery, especially if it is a NiCad battery. Most phones get overloaded, which reduces the autonomy of battery. Mine only goes on the charger for 6-8 hours every 2-3 days depending on usage it got.
