Ipod Nano

Can I start my new Ipod Nano to someone else pc and download their music and then take home to my own PC?

What happens the music I put on the iPod nano from my friend's PC when I go home and sync my home computer. Its new and not yet used. I have no iTunes account on my PC yet either.
