Why a 8.4v 3800mAh battery cost just a dollar more than a 8.4V 1400mAh battery by the same company?

I was a little cell research for my Airsoft Gun, and found that the 8.4V 3800mAh battery cost just a dollar more than a 8.4V 1400mAh battery by same company. Why is this? I do not know much about electronics, but I always thought that the higher the mAh, the better battery.
