Should I charge the batteries out of the box or drain them first?

I heard it's better or worse for Rechargeable Batteries if you charge as soon as you buy them before using them. I just received some pre-loaded Sanyo Eneloop Ni-MH batteries. Should I use their first or more of their first charge?
