10 points for the person who fixed my problem! RCA cable. iPod to a TV, but the cables are red white and green ..??

I bought a RCA cable for my iPod to play videos on my TV. Well, it really just came with a car and Wall Charger. I am trying work on my TV it came with three colors (white red and green), and i plug in the red and white, and the audio works properly. but when I plug in the green (I took the yellow hole) nothing happens. no video. Then I tried to plug the stuff into the back of the TV, there is a hole green. Then I plugged the hole in one. but again, only .. audio, no video. grr!. What am I supposed to do ?!?!?!?!? 10 points the person who fixed my problem! is an iPod video …. I'm not sure what lol generation. 5th generation. I've had more than one year and a half.

Have you tried using only the green and red or green and white? my playstation plugs in my VCR using the yellow and red, but I do take yellow, so I use the white plug. It is worth trying?
