Misconceptions about the FM modulation Ipod Kits
We've been hit stumbling blocks recently with bad ideas the FM modulation when connecting an Apple Ipod in your vehicle. Naturally, those who are confused between the modulation and transmission. We are here to restore the fact that these thoughts could not be further from the truth.
Here are some questions we are asked and our answers:
Will I get interference?
Absolutely not, not. There are a number of characteristics that make it is not possible with modulation;
It is not spread by the waves because it is always fully connected if the signals of radio stations can not be received by your iPods signal.
As its fully wired, the iPods signal is sent to a thread, as you can expect from a wire or a wire auxiliary CD changer.
The kits have a large electric Modulator "on / switch" that physically block your car aerial when the iPod is connected to the headset, which means that your antenna is not connected.
Does it charge the iPod?
Absolutely. All iPods will receive a full charge from the car kit for iPod.
How difficult to install?
Installation takes about 30 minutes. The kit just needs to connect to the back of the stereo it's that simple.
What will the audio quality possible?
This is similar to what you can expect from DAB, very close to CD quality. About 99.9% of facilities, you will not be able to differentiate between the iPod and you're CD, especially if we take into account the road noise from the car.
Why can not I have a fully integrated kit like the Dension Gateway devices or dice Electronics Car Kits?
Over there are some things that might prevent you from being able to use a full kit Built:
Your stereo does not have a CD changer port, therefore not being able to connect to the car stereo
Your stereo simply is not good enough, which could be due to lack of processing speed, lack of support software or even because it is too late!
You may not want to spend the amount of money that a full kit Integrated car expenses
Are there advantages of having a modulator integrated kit?
There are few, yes. Firstly the price, Universal Modulator kits from Dension and Dice come in at about £ 30 cheaper than a kit car built entirely iPod. Secondly, the kits come standard with an iPod connection, unlike integrated kits where you add the cable or cradle in the kit. Thirdly, the installation may be easier, it might save you an hour of work!
We hope that this could eliminate a number of things for you guys
