Can a Verizon Samsung SCH U340 battery work in a us cellular Samsung SCH U340?

My Cell Phone we batttery wet and now is used hold a charge and they sell the same phone as a prepaid phone at Walmart but it is Verizon. I was just wondering if the battery is compatible to my current phone.

Yes it will still work. It's the same phone, no matter which company you purchased your copy. If you do not think you can, ask people in the Verizon store where you can test your battery phone and if it works, buy it if it does you can buy batteries off eBay, Craigslist or store your business.
