Problem with my Pentax Digital Camera. New batteries keeps saying battery exhausted?

My screen on my camera Pentax keeps saying even if the batteries run out I have new batteries in the device. Help

I do not know what model you have, Pentax Optio but my model 30 also has the same disorder. My experience is that if you have a new pair of alkali to be also not work at all. Rechargeable Battery should do better, but I've never tried. CRV3 I tried once, it is good but a bit more initial cost. It will be better if you follow a few strategies to minimize the battery consumption like turning off the LCD, use less zoom and flash, etc. Otherwise, Pentax is better in performance than many cameras and my model is very good for shooting practice.
