Dell Inspiron 6000 battery Wona € ™ t care and adapter not recognized
I have a Dell Inspiron 6000 that has just taken two years.
After a year, mya Dell 6-cella battery begins to weaken, so I bought a new 9-Cell Battery. This worked fine until a couple of months when I noticed that my 65W adapter is frayed. I bought a new 65W Dell Inspiron 6000 AC adapter and it worked well for about a week until I noticed that my battery wasnâ € ™ t load at times. If I was sick, or the adapter unplugged and plugged back in, the battery started charging and everything was saved.
It lasted only a short time until my Dell Inspiron 6000 battery wouldn € ™ t care at all for long periods of time, and sometimes the computer wouldn € ™ t turn on, even if plugged into the wall. I thought it might still be the adapter, so I borrowed a fully functioning Dell 90W adapter from a family member to test the system. This worked better, but still not great. When I removed the battery and has started only AC power, functionality has also been intermittent. Usually, if the computer has actually begun, I received the start-up error â € OETH Adapter Type could not be determined, etc. etc. After etc. € you press F1, the computer starts, but if the battery wasnâ € ™ t in the computer didnâ € ™ t usually last not long before cutting. Not sure if maybe the battery was the problem, I put the 6-cella battery return, and also wouldn € ™ t care, although (with adapter 90W) my computer could at least start more consistently when plugged in. The error remained however, and sometimes the system stops and switches to recognize my battery never decline until the adapter is recognized again.
